Hi, I'm Leart Ajvazaj

I'm a mathematician working in machine learning. My work is on the intersection of AI, mathematics and healthcare. I work at 91Life developing machine learning models aimed at detecting electrophysiological pathologies in the heart.

Outside of my day job, I teach mathematics (recently at ATOMI and Gjirafa LIFE). I also write about Albanian societal and political issues. The occassional satirical or fictional piece too.

I hold a Bachelor's degree from Yale University in mathematics (intensive major) and a master's degree in pure mathematics from the University of Cambridge. In high school I represented Kosovo at the International Mathematical Olympiad.
